Meet the Team!
Liberty
Liberty has been riding for more than 25 years and has 10 years experience in mounted martial combat disciplines. Liberty has organised and participated in several shows in 2023, including a 5-part Medieval Combat demonstration at the Annual Tarago Show, and a jousting show at the Nowra Show. She also claimed three podium places in 2023, in the jousting tournaments at the Blacktown Medieval Faire (Blacktown, NSW), Keith Ryal Memorial Tournament (Ballarat, VIC) and the Abbey Medieval Festival (Caboolture, QLD). She has been actively instructing for three years, and has participated in more than 50 shows, demonstrations and events in the past five years.
Liberty was the highest placed Australian rider at the IHAA World Championships in Mongolia, September 2023, and placed 25th in the World. In 2019, Liberty was the NSW State Champion, and was named the Victorian State Champion in 2018. Liberty has been a representative of the Australian Horse Archery Association for many years and helped found the longest running NSW Branch under the AHAA. She is currently the Australian Representative on the International Horse Archery Alliance Committee, and is tied in second place with Rodney as the second highest graded Australian in the World.
Most recently, Liberty won the 2023 National Horse Archery Championships, held in Tarago NSW in November 2023 at Tarago, NSW, with beloved school horse, Leroy.
Liberty is a key member of the organising committee for the Tarago Tournament, held at the Tarago Annual Show in March, and is setting her sights on an independent festival to be held in the region in the coming years.
Liberty is currently pursuing further education in management and training of horses, as well as equine-based therapy, to broaden her scope of instruction, and with goals of providing assistance and services to first responders, returned service men and women, and other disadvantaged groups within the community. Liberty specialises in teaching young rider lessons, including complete beginners, and loves teaching horse archery one-on-one. She is our main clinic instructor, and has already travelled to Victoria and around NSW to teach horse archery and skill at arms. With a career history in animal management and welfare, Liberty is a staunch advocate for the horse as much as the rider, and is always willing to share her knowledge and time.

Jay has extensive experience working with challenging and young horses, and has a strong focus on ground working with horses for rehabilitation, strengthening and retraining.
